Biography
Organist at the Cathedral in Gdansk- Oliwa in 2015- 2021. In 2018, he graduated the Stanislaw Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdansk , where he studied organ with Prof. Roman Perucki , dr hab Hanna Dys. In 2021 he graduated the organ improvisation class of Prof. Wolfgang Seifen at the Univeristy of Arts in Berlin.
He has participated in many organ competition, Olsztyn 2012 (Laureat), Krasnobród 2013 ( III Place). International organ competition: Rumia 2014 (I Place), Gdańsk 2015, 2018 (Finalist - J.P.Sweelinck organ competition), 2016 Sankt Petersburg (II Place "Vox Polonica Petropolis") , 2016 Mielec ( III Place “ Artem Cameralem Promovere”), 2017 Białystok Philharmonie und Opera (Finalist of the I International organ competition).
In 2017 he received the „Golden Laurel for Young Organist” at the 33rd International Festival of Organ and Chamber Music in Giżycko. He has attended numerous master classes both, focusing principally upon the interpretation of organ music and improvisation.
The master classes, include those given by world-class organists such as: Prof. W. Zerer, Józef Serafin, prof. Andrea Macinati, Silvester Rostetter, prof. Mauricio Croci , prof. Ludger Lohman, prof. Pieter van Dijk, dr hab. Krzysztof Urbaniak, dr hab. Jarosław Wróblewski (organmusic interpretation) , prof. Julian Gembalski, prof. Pierre Pincemaille, prof. Thierry Escaich, prof. Tomasz Adam Nowak, prof. David John Smith, dr hab. Tomasz Orlow, dr Michał Markuszewski, Sietze de Vries (master class in improvisation).
Since 2014, Patryk has been the Chairman of the Promotion of Art Feliks Nowowiejski Foundation, an organisation which arranges approximately different concerts in Northern Poland each year. These are concert series, and include three festivals in North Poland. He plays concerts in Poland and in other countries of Europe.
Patryk cooperate with the saxophonist Szymon Zawodny - The duo “ Sound of Fusion”. In 2017 he released his debut album on the Great Organ in Oliwa. In 2018, together with other Gdańsk organists, he participated in the world premiere recording of all partitas of Daniel Magnus Gronau. Founder of the ImPro Akademia in Poland.
